The Marriage Officiant

Thank you for visiting my website. Before moving forward allow me to share some information about me to explain my journey to officiating weddings.

My journey began with my niece and her now husband asking me to officiate their wedding. I was thrilled, genuinely surprised and frankly overwhelmed. I told their story through laughter, love and a few one-liners... just the way they wanted me to. After that first officiation I knew bringing couples together in matrimony was my calling.

I absolutely believe in love and romance. As a little girl I cannot remember wishing for anything more than true love and friendship. I do believe love can be found anywhere. It can be found on a crowded subway train, in an office meeting and on the Internet. An open heart recognizes another open heart. And that's why I will officiate the wedding of any two adults who wish to pursue a lifetime of devotion to one another. Because I believe we need more love in the world.

I consider myself a Marriage Officiant, although the friends I've performed marriages for think of me as their Marriage Minister. I take both titles seriously. For me to be at my best I need to know what brings two people to the altar and I need to know their love story.

I prepare myself both mentally and spiritually. My mind, body and soul have to be right for your special day for I share that big day with you.

As your wedding officiant, I will assist you in scripting the wedding ceremony of your dreams. My promise is to be ever considerate of your vision and wishes; from the more traditional wedding ceremony in spirit to the casual back yard wedding event. Whether you and partner have different faiths, or different feelings about faith, I will work with you to create a ceremony that affirms your faith, and your commitment to one another.
